Robart Pot

The flutes are wonderful. Congratulations on the magnificent results. The instruments are beautifully finished and the Mokumeum tubing very stylish and tasteful. The mechanism felt extraordinarily good and very even to the touch and its construction allows for high speed action.

I liked the gold flute a lot. An instrument that gives great confidence to its player. Most gold flutes do not release the full colourful spectrum of tones but are only beautiful in one colour. The Eloy flute however showed a brilliant sound and can also be seduced into a beautiful French sound and a stricter German sound. For the French sound I had to work a little harder but eventually it was an impressive result.
The sound of the Mokumeum flute was a little lighter and very easy to bring out the French tonal spectrum. The mokumeum flute resonated really well and had a lot of power in the lower register. An absolute high end instrument!
What struck me was how well the embouchure holes where cut. Immediate response. Plays easily. Rich sound with brilliant timbre.

The Eloy Flutes are very well balanced. In the high register the instruments maintain their brilliance and power very well. The tone projects really good and it is very hard to find the limits of these flutes. Their colourful sound stays interesting in every octave. A very interesting and elegant flute!

The flutes have a wonderful warm sound which is strong and full which, especially in the third octave stays really strong and powerful. The balance is excellent and the instruments really blend in. This is a top-instrument!
