Noble Silver

Noble silver: This silver alloy is specially made for Eloy flutes. Instead of copper as an additive to harden the silver, Eloy flutes has after long research chosen to add only precious metal to the silver. The proportions in Noble silver are 850 parts silver and 150 parts noble metal, which is for the most part gold. The exact composition of the 150 parts which are added to the smelt we do not make public, but the influence it has on the overall sound is clearly perceptible: Noble silver gives a velvet like touch to the flutes timbre. An additional advantage is that the surface of this tube cannot tarnish and therefore stays shiny.
