Mokumeum ^©: A flute made out of Mokumeum ^© has a special and unique sound. Mokumeum ^© is produced in two forms: 925 silver with either 14 carat red gold or 14 carat Palladium white gold. Normally, metal alloys are homogeneously mixed. With Mokumeum ^© the metals are mixed along side each other variably. This gives a special hardness and density to the metal. Also the forming of the sheet metal into tubing alters the specific properties of separate precious metal components from which Mokumeum ^© has been made. As a result, the properties that can be found in silver and gold flutes are brought together in one instrument. Both the clear warm sound of silver and the darker full tone found in gold flutes come together here. The harmonic spectrum found in an instrument made out of Mokumeum ^© is unique and cannot be compared with any other flute!
